Welcome
Local Lakes August 3rd
With the warm summer weather in full heat, lake fishing has slowed and lake stockings are put on hold till the end of summer. Many of the good early spring fishing lakes have now gotten too warm and should probably be left in favor of the deeper, cooler lakes such as Buntzen! Buntzen is probably the best local lake for summer fishing as it stays the coldest. If you don’t mind making a small drive, try the lakes in the Squamish/Whistler area for some bigger fish and faster fishing. For all you young and/or adventurous anglers, try hiking up to some of the high altitude lakes on Burke Mountain! Tight lines and enjoy the awesome weather! ~Michael... [Read more...]

August 3rd RIVER REPORT
Well I guess I’ll start with the Vedder (Chilliwack) River as it is pretty much the best spring producing river at the moment …next to the Fraser of course. This week will be the peak of the red spring run for the Vedder. The river is in great shape, clarity, height, and temperature are all in check. As the days go on this month the river will start to get its mix of the more plentiful, larger, robust white springs. Try roe, spinners, and blades as springs are suckers for them. Alright now for the Fraser! The river is stacked with sockeye... [Read more...]
