Well here we go again. The Chironomids are hatching, so it is the old question once again. “ Which Colour? “ With the hot weather, make sure you have a few ant patterns tucked away somewhere, I had a huge flying ant on me yesterday. The swarms will be out anytime now depending on elevation and temperature. There have been reports of good trolling in Nicola Lake for Kokonee and Rainbow on small spoons with lots of action. Use a piece of worm for scent, but check the action before and after to make sure it hasn’t changed, as the extra weight can alter the wiggle. Micro leeches have been good all over.
