Local Rivers Are Now Open

July 3, 2009 by rsfat

July 1st local river opened so get out there.  Skagit River is fishing excellent with Befus stoneflies and caddis pupae.  Dry flies are coming off nicely in the afternoon.  Local rivers should start producing some springs around the middle of July.  Lots of trout are in though at Chehalis and Vedder as well as Alouette.  Capilano river has been fishing fair for Coho still.
