Fly fishing 101

Fly fishing 101 is a beginners introduction to the sport of Fly Fishing. What we aim to do is give the beginner a very basic introduction to all aspects of the sport, and make them feel confident in their ability to go out and catch fish after the course. In the course you learn how to cast (overhead, roll), tie all the basic knots, general equipment and fly selection, as well as reading water. Classes are run once a month and class size is kept to 6 students usually. The cost for this class is $100.00 per person. Rods and reels can be supplied to those individuals who are looking to try something new without having to purchase a whole set-up. There is no age limit for this class.
